On Tuesday evening at the International Blues Challenge for the last few years, there is one place to be.
The Rum Boogie Cafe at Third & Beale!
Beginning at 8pm (US Central), The 2014 KBA Recipient for Education, Tas Cru and his Band of Tortured Souls, take the stage.
And this year, the event is going to benefit GENERATION BLUES, part of The Blues Foundation, whose purpose is:
"This scholarship program allows qualified applicants under the age of 21 to study their instrument of choice at reputable camps, seminars and workshop programs"
For the next 8 hours or so, Tas welcomes onto the stage musicians from around the globe to jam and party. And if the past is any indication, Tas will be on stage the entire evening.
For those not in Memphis, it has been arranged that Music On the Couch will be streaming the FIRST TWO HOURS OF THE JAM LIVE!!!!
From 8pm (US Central) until 10pm (US Central) you can hear some incredible music LIVE from The Rum Boogie Cafe.
Tell your friends, heck, tell people who might not like you...they will change their minds and think you are a cool person!
